Dr. Hema Sathish is a dermatologist with 25 years of clinical experience. Her daughter Sanchara is Gen Z, an environmentalist who never separated skin health from planet health. Together, they built The Good Hygiene Company on a simple idea: what's gentle enough for your skin should be gentle enough for the earth too.

Dr. Hema celebrates 25 years of experience treating skin, from burn victims to complex dermatological conditions. She takes her understanding beyond the clinic, training in organic skincare formulation.
Mother & Daughter
Dr. Hema becomes a certified official skincare formulator as mother and daughter join forces in the pandemic. They sow the seeds for their own non-toxic, planet-conscious skincare brand.
The Home Lab
Rigorous research into active ingredients available in nature, managing stability and formulation, begins in their home lab.
The Launch
The Good Hygiene Company launches at the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards, bringing together dermatological expertise and a planet-conscious approach to skincare.
